I had a procedure done not far from the Hyatt Place, so my son and I stayed there four nights. After about 30 minutes or after settling in, they texted to make sure everything was clean and to my liking. The breakfast is pretty good, but the staff - from front desk to housekeeping - all have been amazing and had such a great attitude! It was clean and very welcoming. I would not hesitate to stay there again!

My boyfriend and I stayed over valentines weekend, rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel offered room delivered vday amenities (bottle of wine, balloon, a card, and some macarons!) we had such a great stay. One night we were too tired to go out and eat so we decided to bite the bullet and eat at the hotel, it’s worth the money! We both had the steak and the cowboy butter was deliciouuuus. We will stay here again !

Modern, busy hotel in a very good location. Comfortable room with a mini fridge but no microwave. Breakfast was decent but not an overly large selection, no waffle makers. Heated outdoor pool on the 7th floor very large patio was fun. Parking not so much. Guest parking is on floors 3 through 6 and the garage elevator goes to the hotel first floor only. So you must take one elevator then get off to take a different elevator to get to and from your rooms. Housekeeping is not every day so you must request things like towels and coffee from front desk and they will deliver. We waited over an hour for some coffee packets then gave up and left. They were delivered while we were gone. Great location to the gigantic Medical Center complex. Easy to get to the Museum District and Rice Village from there. Would return.

I’m giving this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 due to my experience with early check-in. I arrived early at 12:30 PM and stopped by the front desk to let them know. I politely asked if a clean and available room existed, could I check in early. I was told that early check-in would cost $75, otherwise I would need to wait until 2:00 PM. Charging $75 for just an hour and a half early check-in feels excessive and unreasonable—especially if the room is already clean and unoccupied. That amount is over half the cost of an entire night’s stay, which honestly felt more like a money grab than a convenience fee. I chose not to pay and waited outside until 2 PM. That said, once I returned, Brandon at the front desk checked me in and completely turned the experience around. Brandon was polite, professional, and very well groomed—so much so that I asked who his barber was and actually went later to get a haircut there, which turned out great! He is truly a fantastic representative for Hyatt. The room itself was very nice, modern, clean, and well maintained. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and conveniently located near many attractions and destinations in Houston. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. Despite the early check-in issue, I would stay here again. Just hoping Hyatt reconsiders that policy.

All around great service. Brandon and Jaylah at the front desk were both very friendly and welcoming during my entire stay. I ate dinner there twice and the food was really good and Sebastian and Melanie provided great service. The rooms were spacious and clean. The elevators are a bit slow but not a big deal. Overall, great value and I would definitely stay there again.

I had an absolutely outstanding stay at the Hyatt Medical District Houston! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel is spotless, modern, and beautifully designed. The rooms are incredibly comfortable with plush bedding, thoughtful amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The staff truly sets this hotel apart, every single person I encountered was warm, professional, and eager to help. Their hospitality made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The breakfast was hands down the best complimentary hotel breakfast I’ve ever had! There was an excellent variety, everything was fresh and well-prepared, and it felt far above the typical “free hotel breakfast” experience. The location is perfect, especially if you need to be near the medical center, and the overall experience was seamless from check-in to check-out. This is easily one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. I will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Houston!

Love the hotel location. I typically stay here every year for volunteer shifts that I have at the rodeo. It’s PERFECT because it has a dedicated shuttle to the rodeo. No other stops. Super quick and runs late. And the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Only complaints would be the rooms are showing some age and need to be revamped in a few of them. Also, the elevator is annoying if you’re not used to it because the garage elevator only goes to the garage and the room elevators only go to the rooms. Pro tip: park on the top floor (floor 6). Then take the stairs up one floor to floor 7. Then you can take the elevator to your room. Instead of having to ride the elevator down, then get on another elevator to go to your room, which during busy times the wait can be long.

What a fantastic stay at the Hyatt, can't wait to come back. Friendly staff that actually cares, spacious rooms that are super comfy. The beds are so cozy you'll never want to leave. Just a heads up, bring some earplugs for street noise and don't trust the alarm clock - it's a bit too eager to wake you up.
